About Me

I’m Nathan Kastle. I’m an avid creative and the proud author of Path Illogical: A Memoir of NYC and OCD. I come from Silicon Valley, blocks from Apple headquarters. I’m imperfect, endlessly curious, and grateful to have overcome severe obsessive-compulsive disorder.

26 years after stepping on the scene in 1996, I finally began my first book. It tells the story of discovering I had OCD as a new acting student at New York University and the gradual disintegration of my mental health as my obedience to the compulsive habits in my life intensified.

Today, I call the gem of Sanibel, Florida home. It’s a sanctuary island that is two-thirds preserved land. The tranquility of my neighborhood and the island itself allowed me the inner peace and empowerment to complete my book in 2025.
